Terms & Conditions
Introduction
These Terms govern your use of [Site Name] and the services we provide through it. Visiting the site, requesting an appointment, applying for membership, or interacting with us this way means you agree to what follows.
They’re written to be understood, not to hide behind. The terms explain what the site is for, what we promise and what we don’t, and what we ask of you in return — set out so you can read them once and know where you stand.
If you disagree with anything here, the remedy is to stop using the site. Continued use after changes are posted counts as acceptance of the revised terms — the same way it does with the Privacy Policy.
About This Site
This site exists to introduce the practice — who we are, who we treat, how the work is done, and how to begin a relationship with one of our physicians. It’s the entry point, not the relationship itself.
Some interactions begin here — requesting an appointment, applying for membership, asking a question through the form. These steps initiate a conversation. Actual care begins when you become a patient and meet with your physician.
Not Medical Advice
Information on this site — articles, descriptions of conditions, descriptions of how we work — is provided for general understanding. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any particular person or situation.
Reading what’s here is not a substitute for seeing a physician. If something concerns you about your health, the right next step is to see a doctor — ours or anyone else’s — not to act on a website.
Life-threatening symptoms: call 911. For non-emergency concerns, members can reach their physician through the direct line set up at enrollment. Everyone else should contact their own physician or local urgent care.
Appointments and Membership
An appointment request submitted through the site is just that — a request. It’s reviewed and either confirmed, rescheduled, or declined before it becomes an appointment. The site doesn’t finalize bookings.
Membership is governed by a separate agreement signed at enrollment, not by these Terms. What appears on the site is description; the agreement is the contract. Where the two differ, the agreement controls.
Acceptable Use
Use the site for what it’s intended for — information about the practice, requesting an appointment, applying for membership, asking a question. Anything else is misuse.
That means: no scraping or automated access, no attempts to break the site or its security, no impersonation, no use of the site to send unsolicited communication. Misuse forfeits access.
Intellectual Property
The site, its writing, its design, its photographs, and the way they’re put together belong to the practice. They are not in the public domain and they are not yours to copy, reuse, or rework without permission.
If you’d like to reference something here — for a publication, a presentation, a portfolio, anything — write to us. Most reasonable requests are granted. The rule is asking, not assuming.
Disclaimers and Liability
The site is provided as it is. We try to keep what’s here accurate, current, and working — but we don’t guarantee it. Content can be outdated, links can break, the site can be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
Nothing on the site is a promise of medical outcome. Descriptions of how we work describe approaches and intentions, not guaranteed results. Medicine is practiced one patient at a time; no website can speak to a specific case.
To the extent allowed by law, the practice is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. This limitation does not apply to the actual practice of medicine, which is governed by professional standards and separate agreements.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that can’t be resolved through direct conversation will be heard by courts in [County], [State].
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. The unenforceable part is replaced by what’s closest in spirit and lawful.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may change from time to time — when our practices evolve, when the law requires, when we find better language. Updates are posted here with a revised ‘Last updated’ date at the top. The date is the only notification.
Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised version. Questions about anything here — what we promise, what we don’t, your obligations — can be sent to the contact details below, or raised in person at your next visit.
